Spring Into Stripes
Lines are everywhere this season and we're a little bit of obsessed with stripes, especially if it comes in vibrant hues. An absolute favorite spring trend.
Though there may have been debates and inconsistencies throughout the years as to whether horizontal stripes make the illusion of looking slimmer and thinner or taller and elongated. Some argue that the plane that is parallel to the horizon seems to fill spaces more than vertical stripes. Whatever it is, we'll leave it to psychology experts and go pull off a geometric look anyway.

Spring colors such as blush, bright blue, coral, white and pastels set as a reminder to us all that warmer days are on their way and that cold and dark winter days are numbered. Invigorating and energized, to say the least.

My first time in the Commonwealth of Virginia and so far I'm loving it. Alexandria is a quaint city along the western bank of the Potomac River and I've always been told to stop by here because of its instagram-worthy scene and locale. They didn't disappoint.
